Bella Italia - Q.R.

After leaving the intense noise of 5th Avenue, we found this lovely little pizzeria. My sister and I shared a veggie pizza and it was excellent. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese and toppings so that you tasted everything and cooked in a wood fire oven. The beer was cold and served in a frosted glass. Our waiter was so helpful and attentive. The chocolate mousse was a nice finish. Would like to try some of the other dishes and bump the food rating up to 5 stars.

This unassuming Italian restaurant in Playa del Carmen serves food that is right on par with what you’d find in Italy. I was absolutely blown away by the flavors—hands down the best Italian food in all of Playa. To top it off, I had a glass of Italian wine that was the smoothest, most flavorful wine I’ve ever tasted. The service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. I cannot wait to come back next time we’re in Playa del Carmen!

Pepperoni pizza was amazing!!!! Chocolate mousse was good. Been looking for Negro Modelo and Emmanuel delivered, asked if i wanted a cold glass was a great waiter and was patient with my spanish. I will come back to this restaurant and PLAYA Del Carmen for this and many other reasons.

We had one of our best meal here!! I can’t eat gluten or lactose and the staff was very well informed about allergens, they came to check it twice. I had shrimp pasta and it was so creamy and full of shrimp. Polite and friendly staff, nice environment, highly recommended!

Just had dinner here at the recommendation of my dad. It was absolutely delicious! I was greeted right away, sat inside with the A/C. At first I was brought the wine menu but I’m not a wine fan so the waiter offered a cocktail recommendation. It was something with cucumber and so tasty and fresh! I had two! For my meal I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, which was piping hot and so tasty! Even the bread brought to me on the side was so soft and fresh. I will definitely return and tell my friends! Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Sincerely...a happy Canadian :)

Our family of 5 came here after a day of exploring and couldn't be happier. We got 2 pizzas and pasta, along with garlic bread. Our waiter, Gustavo, was so attentive and sweet. The food came out in a decent amount of time and they brought the garlic bread first. We all loved our food and the pizzas were big enough to take the rest back for leftovers! We also all shared a mango Panna cotta which wasn't a mistake. Great option for a restaurant that's off the main streets but still right in the middle of Playa.

Never disappointing , all the pastas are good. Pizza is in the top 5 in Playa. Nice place to enjoy inside or sidewalk dining

Great food, fantastic service! We've been here several times and will be back again. The pizza is delicious and the pasta is great. Don't sleep on the tiramisu.
